A CHRISTMAS CAROL

In 1858, Charles Dickens came to Shrewsbury and gave a public reading of A Christmas Carol to rapturous applause. To celebrate the 160th anniversary of this momentous event, you can experience what it must have been like to be in the audience! European Arts Company returns with a heart-warming evening in the presence of the author himself, as actor John O’Connor faithfully recreates Dickens’s famous performance of his best-loved ghost story.

Come and enjoy a seasonal treat in the spirit of Christmas past, present and future.

"This almost feels immersive. John O’Connor’s performance is a delight. A festive treat" – The Stage

Directed by Peter Craze.
