UNE is a Cheshire-based electro duo consisting of BBC radio broadcaster, writer and musician Mark Radcliffe and tech boffin, remixer and DJ Paul Langley.

The UNE live experience is an intoxicating blend of sumptuous soundtracks and atmospheric projections which has graced many stages including festival appearances at Bluedot, Loopallu, Kendal Calling, Krankenhaus and Beautiful Days. They have also appeared by special request of the headliners with Heaven 17 and New Order.

English radio broadcaster, musician and writer, Mark Radcliffe, has had a long radio career that has seen him present programmes on Radios 1, 2, 3, 4, 4extra, 5Live, and 6Music. He has hosted many music shows on tv including The White Room and coverage of the Glastonbury festival. He performs in an acoustic duo with David Boardman and currently presents the Radio 2 Folk Show and the weekend breakfast slot on 6Music with Stuart Maconie.

Langley was a long time habitue of Manchester’s legendary Hacienda club where he was a regular fixture in the dj booth alongside his brother Bobby. Signed to Rob’s Records, the label launched by New Order manager the late Rob Gretton, Paul honed his recording, programming and mixing skills by working closely with the Factory Records family.

UNE have released four albums: Lost, Deux, Spomenik and most recently, Whirl. They are currently working on their fifth and definitely not final album Last.
