Mountain Song returns to Shrewsbury, bringing to life the golden era of Bluegrass and Appalachian mountain music!
The duo is made up of James Hickman and Will Greenway. James has toured extensively in the UK, Europe and America with the famous fiddle player Dan Cassidy, Uiscedwr (Radio 2 Young Folk Act) and Chris Quinn (Shrewsbury’s well-known gypsy jazz guitarist). James started teaching during COVID and began the concept of Mountain Song with his star pupil, Will Greenway.
Relying only on traditional microphone techniques, each note, harmony and the natural beauty of their acoustic instruments, Mountain Song conjures the spirit of the settlers and pioneers of the American mountains!
