AUSTENTATIOUS
THE IMPROVISED JANE AUSTEN NOVEL

AUSTENTATIOUS are saddling the horses for a Grand Tour of the United Kingdom!

Austentatious is an improvised comedy play starring a cast of the country's quickest comic performers. Every single show, the cast conjure up a brand new 'lost' Jane Austen novel based on nothing more than a title suggested by the audience.

Austentatious are fresh from six sellout runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, a monthly residency in London's Leicester Square and a BBC Radio 4 special to mark the bicentenary of Austen's death. Now their show will be appearing at theatres across the country to entertain and astonish audiences in equal measure.

"RIDICULOUSLY SILLY... WICKEDLY FUNNY" The Times

Previous 'lost' masterpieces have included Sixth Sense & Sensibility, Double 0 Darcy and Mansfield Shark, and no two shows are ever the same. Performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment, this is a Regency treat guaranteed to delight Austen novices and die-hard fans alike.

"A JOY TO BEHOLD" Guardian

Austentatious say... "We are thrilled to be travelling the length and breadth of the country, rediscovering the lost classics Austen wrote and promptly forgot about. We love and admire Jane's works and the public deserve an intimate acquaintance with them, particularly the very prescient ones about Donald Trump."

"SUPERSMART AND TERRIFICALLY FUNNY" Scotsman

Austentatious is performed by Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Andrew Hunter Murray, Cariad Lloyd, Charlotte Gittins, Daniel Nils Roberts, Graham Dickson, Joseph Morpurgo and Rachel Parris. Line-up varies. Each show stars 5-6 members of the cast.
