Following heats at venues around Shropshire, five bands will battle it out to be crowned "SHROPSHIRE'S NEXT BIG THING".

The final of Shropshire Star’s annual unsigned bands competition will showcase the best emerging performers from the region, and one band will be awarded a prestigious slot at Shrewsbury Fields Forever in September, by a judging panel including lead singer of The Sunshine Underground, Craig Wellington.
