Enjoy an evening of energetic and exhilarating live dance and film by young men and boys, from across the West Midlands who will be performing together as part of the Boys Dancing Project.
Be the first to see HANGAR, a dance film created by boys from across Shropshire.
A PE class at school is a terrifying experience for some, from participating in team sports to the journey to the away game. The pressure to co-operate with others from outside of your social circle can be daunting – it can make the most innocent of situations feel like a personal war zone. Be ready to defend yourself and to deal with the fear of being afraid.
A partnership project between Shropshire Council and the West Midlands Boys Dance Alliance, the project develops and celebrates dance for boys and young men. Part of the Dancing for the Games programme, the West Midlands’ Culture Programme for London 2012 and funded by Legacy Trust UK, Arts Council England West Midlands and Advantage West Midlands.
