Warm your heart and fire your imagination as we consider burning questions concerning bugs, big bangs and body-snatchers bringing the story of the young Charles Darwin to life. Origins is a joyful visual spectacular incorporating physical theatre, animation and puppetry. from the award winning Pentabus Theatre

This major new production marks Pentabus theatre’s 35th groundbreaking year and the launch of an exhilarating season of bold new work. The company has brought more that 100 shows to Shropshire including Precious Bane which played for 3 weeks in Shrewsbury to audiences of over 4000.

Origins is written by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, whose work with Pentabus Theatre’s artistic director, Orla O’Loughlin has been performed in the West End to critical acclaim.

Origins is currently being performed at Edinburgh Festival where the British Theatre Guide said "With a lovely sense of playfulness this educational and encouraging play creatively stages the less well known beginnings of an exceptional man."
